Im personally going to tank so im making a mage/knight

mage/scout and mage/priest are also viable options.

hmm, im goin to say rogue best combo, because the skill blindstab at lv20 can take about 500hp and blind therefore reducing their hit rate. also the passive skill dodge adds a permanent % to your main. i dont think a combo where two classes sharing the same mana pool is a good choice. i would look for an alternative force to supplement. so you can use all your magic on damage
spam your villainy and blindstab, till you exhaust it then back to magic.

hmm if you want to tank, you gotta go knight\mage, becuase the only bonus u will get from knight that adds to your def if you pick knight as second class is armor enhance and thats a percent bonus, so if your def is still low then its not goin to give a big bonus as compared to a tank with heavy armor.

Its a shame to make from mage warriors they are caster and they should stay like that.
So the best thing for mage for my opinion is to deal massive dmg Smile
Pure mage full int= Twisted Evil
I heard mage/priest is good stuff or priest/mage something like that xD

go rogue then ^^ they have blind stab as i posted earlier which at lv20 takes 500hp, a warrior has good second skills but you gotta sacrifice defence for the offence ones >< scout has dmg skills too, but its not as much as the rogue.

I am going Mage/Priest for the simple fact that I might think about endgame healing. I will blaze through with my Mage, get some skills maxed and then switch and level my Priest. I will then respec in the end and full heal for raids perhaps. I am still working it all out and there is a long way to go still.

are u goin to just max out your sub class skills for healer? i find that using tp for main skills for a sub class u are not goin to keep a waste. yea mage healer is very good, mage in general is pawnage and farming material should not be a problem ^_^

Im used to warriors and dmg casters Smile
But i dont know bonuses or what second class i ll be,couse there are too many combinations Sad
They could explain what every combinations gives or they could explain a little more dual sistem.
For example:
If i choose warrior/knight what will i have from warrior and what from knight?
I dont understand that i was thinkg from readin its something like this.
If i choose warrior/knight i ll get with warrrior all till lvl 10 and that stays and get all new sstuff from knight from lvl 10? Rolling Eyes

if you choose warrior/knight u will carry secondary classes of the knight, example all your warriors will be availbable but with the knight; you will get defence bonuses such as disarment, stamina bonus and armor breaker, so basically it will be a secondary self buff class added to your warrior main. my recomendation would be for u to level both classes to lv12 and see which one u like better then pursue that class as your main. and to level up your secondary use your daily quests acording to your secondary classes level.

once u change your class to the new sub, you only keep your sub secondary skills you earned from your first class, then the skills flip and u have the choice to max out your main skills of your secondary class or max out your secondary skills of your second class to benifit more your first main class.

Istn that class sistem like thes when i get lvl 10 i choose second class and i dont do anything else with first class?
Or u want to say that i ll have 2 classes thati need to get to lvl 50 that 100lvls and thats stupid?
Isnt first class till lvl 10 from 10 to 50 second class or what?

is this like FFXI? when u do a certain lvl u do a quest for sub job space and u have to lvl them both seperately. and the main class (say its lvl 40) and the secondry class is lvl 20, will u not b able to get the 2ndary class any higher than half of the main class (on FFXI if u have a warrior lvl 22 and a white mage lvl 48, if ur main class is the white mage then the warrior class as ur sub will be same lvl but if its other way round and the lvl 48 mage was sub and warrior lvl 22 was main, then the mage can only b lvl 11)

We ll know when Ob starts whats the dual sistem like and is it worth taking at all xD
Couse if its like i said in last post i think it ll be junk.
Couse its stupid to lvl twice.
If they want dual class they should make that you can be just single class.
Like in DnD types of games(Baldurs Gate...)
In DnD u choose if u gona be single,dual or multy class and your exp go to all three classes so its 3x times more exp to get lvl or for dual 2x time.
I never liked dual sistem anyway Sad
So if i dont like that sistem i could just take one class if thats possible Smile
Couse i dont like grinding 2x time for dual class.
If i can be strong enough with just single.

scratch my mage rogue vote, >_< they nerfed the rogues blind attack making frontal damage useless. i think now mage scout would be good becuase of frost arrow reducing target speed allowing u to lay more spells down. then of course healer would go second choice. but from what higher level 3x-4x players tell me in the game a healer mage is better than a mage healer

I was starting to think the same thing about Healer/Mage. I enjoy main healing, heck even an off healer is fun and the way I see it I would have alot easier time getting groups as a healer for raids later too. SO MANY CHOICES! Dual Class system is screwing with my head

what i was informed too was that u still can level fairly good with just your secondary mage skills maxed and not your first, and since healer requires the secondary mage skills its a win win situation.

The compani that created RoM should explain a little better all about dual class sistem.
And say what u get with each class as main and what u get as secondary.
And tell all bonuses and stuff that involves dual sistem couse like this its mind f*** Smile
